Visiting a Korean pub as a group, it can be hard to know what to order first. Think of our menu in four groups, soups, meat, jeon and noodles, and putting a table together becomes much easier. Here is how to order for your party size and tastes.
First, choose between a soup dish and a plated dish
The shared dishes we currently recommend as our signatures are:
- Braised oxtail, 55,000 KRW: oxtail suyuk served with our special broth and sauce
- Spicy crab and gopdoritang, 46,000 KRW: a fiery stew of blue crab, chicken and beef intestine
- Suyuk hot pot with beef jeon, 43,000 KRW: a hot pot with beef jeon and suyuk together
- Beef jeon, 29,000 KRW: beef jeon pan-fried one piece at a time
If you want to eat slowly with a broth, look at the hot pots; if you want to talk and enjoy a piece at a time, look at the suyuk or the beef jeon. Tell us what else you plan to order and how hungry you are, and we will advise on how many people each dish serves.
Choose your jeon by texture and ingredient
We currently offer cheese and potato jeon, chamnamul and shrimp jeon, and kimchi jeon.
- Cheese and potato jeon: a savoury pairing of shredded potato and cheese
- Chamnamul and shrimp jeon: the aroma of Korean wild greens with shrimp
- Kimchi jeon: the depth of aged kimchi with a crisp texture
Each jeon differs in ingredients and flavour, so choose to suit your group. If anyone needs to avoid shellfish, dairy, wheat or egg, please tell our staff before ordering.
Carry the meal on with noodles or pasta
Perilla-oil makguksu and yuzu kal-bibim-myeon are our Korean noodle dishes; beef brisket doenjang cream pasta and spicy pork cream pasta combine Korean ingredients with cream pasta.
For a familiar Korean combination, pair suyuk or jeon with noodles; for something a little different, share a Korean main with a cream pasta.
